No, you're not crazy, you're right. You can't get it that way. Sorry. do it this way:

go here
http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/calaw.html

select code of civil procedures and then, in the search box type "statute of limitations"
click "search"

The first one on the list of results is it. "Code of Civil Procedure section 335-349.3"
paragraph 337 and paragraph 339. I believe that CA does not consider revolving accounts to be written accounts, so I think it's 339. Better check though.
