Yes, if you don't want to deal with the recalcitrant lawyer, you go to court and take your bank statements and the little notices you get every month from SS and the pension trustee, to prove that this is the money in your account. The judge will know what to do.

It's a shame the free representation is so impersonal and uncaring, but I understand those places are understaffed and underfunded, so it's understandable they only do the barest essential things.

Good luck. Dont be cared of court - they're people too. Just say your piece when it's time.
