I owe a dermatologist I went to $450. The doctor provided what I think really shotty service and actually made me worse in my opinion. They called me today threatening to send the bill to collections and it would affect my TRW credit report. For some reason I have in my mind that medical bills cannot be put on your credit report. I just remember hearing that somewhere. Am I right or wrong? Also, what do you recommend I do about this? Do you think if I explain to them about their crappy service and results they will settle with me for a lower amount? What should I offer? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
