Yes they can put medical bills on your credit report. and they can sue you for the money.

File a complaint with your state's board of health about his services. Sue him before he sues you. Or pay him, under duress, and then sue to get your money back. I have been through this - hundreds of dollars for glasses and contact that I couldn't see with. Don't just wait for it to go away. ;)
