Florida is a pretty good state for debtor protection. If you have any assets in your own name, like cd's or savings or checking acounts,you might wish to open aother account jointly with some one else,(a trustworthy relative over 18 is best) Have them as primary on the account- Use that for your normal business and just keep a lttle in your individual account. Your home, if you own, is exempt if homesteaded. When you start getting served with summons, wait about a week, then reply questioning something, like the balance, or if you are lucky, any error you find. E-mail me for more info if you want
