Under Federal laws you every right to DEMAND that they cease contacting you by phone - anywhere - and that all communication must be done in writing. You should compose a letter to that effect and send it by certified, return receipt mail.Since this account (I'm assuming) doesn't meet the 7 year + 180 day credit reporting laws they could probably come after you and maybe not. I think most of the money you earn is exempt from garnishment in TX - Florida, too (use one of the search engines with the keywords "Wage Garnishment Laws in Texas" or something to that effect).
