If you have the original filing,or can get a copy,it would depend on how the debt was filed.If it was filed as only his interest in the debt,then you are obligated for your end.If you both were equally responsble for the entire obligation,and it wasn't totally discharged,then you are still on the hook.Speak to the lawyer who filed for him and get his opinion.
