Depending on the creditor - delinquent could mean an account for which no payment has been been after 2 consecutive billings. For exampe: if you did not make a payment on an account for 2 months your account would be 60 days delinquent - so on.....Some creditors will remove delinquency status if you maintain regular payments for a certain time period after the delinquency. The SOL refers to that time period in a state which a creditor may bring suit against a debtor for. non-payment.
