If you send the validation letter to the CA -stating it is not your debt and demanding proof + stating they are in violation of the FDCPA by putting this account on your reports without any prior notice or contact,state you are filing a report with the FTC.(link below) AND send a copy to the CRA's with a covering letter to THEM giving only them your s.s.# etc. or CRA file # and requesting immediate removal of this fraudulent information-- I guarantee it will be erased from your reports very quickly.
