Fleet has a bad rep when it comes to peole with problems.

There is a MBNA credit analyst who was working with people in trouble posting on one of the online boards. They seem to be trying to come to grips and deal realistically with people who have lost their jobs recently, etc.

Most collections people, even those who work for card companies, arre on commission, so they say whetever they think will work. They are cynical, and expect to be lied to.

Sorry you went through that. Just outclass them, LOL. That will really pi$$ them off.

Associate is now Citbank. I hear they are hard-nosed, but they also will work with you if you are willing to commit to working things out.
