Actually, I believe according to the Fair Credit Billing Act, they are required to send a billing statement in any month that your balance is greater than $1 or less than -$1. Of course, they actually *did* send a statement, it was just stolen in the mail. You may be stuck with the late fee. If they won't play ball, hopefully you can vote with your business and put your balance on a different card. Watch out for any interest rate hikes due to the late. If a 30-day late appears on your credit report, though, you should be able to get it removed. A 30-day late is just what it sounds like, your payment must be 30 days past the due date to get this notation (not 2 days late). -michelle
