It's the US Code Collection -->
Title 15: Commerce and Trade -->
Chapter 41: Consumer Credit Protection --> Subchapter V: Debt Collection Practices -->
Sec. 1692i.:Legal actions by debt collectors.

Chapter 41 also addresses creditor harrassment or abuse, and debt validation.

It has nothing to do with bankruptcy law.
