I received a summons when someone went to my house, but it had a court date that had already passed, like 2 mns late??? An no it wasn't included in the BK, cuz this happend AFTER, the BK was discharged in 97, we got the car in Sep 99/then separated in Dec '99..car was repo'd in March 00, Then i got a notice from the recorders office (from various counties) for the same judgement, that there was lien against me..i guess they sold the car, then sued me for the bal remaining on the actual loan?? I don't know but i apparently have a lien against me for $10k, so now that i'm about to payoff this other car, i wanna know if they can just take it, or do they have to send me something or what..can i put it my new husbands name, can i file something else like BK, to avoid this???
