If they call back, ask them to send you a letter,that you do nothing by phone. There are a bunch of scam "garbage collectors" who go through old computer records to try to squeeze money out of unsuspecting victims.They usually want to "settle" by having you wire funds or send a money order to a PO box.If you DO get a letter, send them a simple dispute "this is not my debt" cease and desist letter.
