I had a message on my machine last night from First Resolution telling me that this would be the last phone call I would receive, and that they will no longer speak to me, only someone who represents me. Also, they said the matter has been "referred". What does that mean...am I being sued now? I, to this day, have received nothing in writing from them. Do I call and demand someting in writing or just send a validation letter? I'm in Michigan, and the account was opened in Mar of 97. I'm not sure the date of the first late payment. It didn't show on my credit report. Do I write directly to Capital One and ask them to validate? Thanks for all your help...you guys have been great!
