Are the credit cards joint? If not, any judgment will be against your wife,not you.When did you stop paying on these accounts? Keep all your records to fight any legal action. S.C. has a 3 year SOL for them to file suit, this dates fom your FIRST "late" notice. A judgment stays on record for 10 years in S.C.,even though it comes off your credit report in 7.
