I read Bud's book--very fine and comforting.

I have also read a lot on these boards.

Now here is what is being implied repeatedly, but not said at all (WHY IS THAT???)

1. If you dispute long enough others will comply just to get rid of you.

2. Somewhere along the line someone will miss a deadline for dispute, validation etc. and one could possible be free of that debt.

3. That one can beat 'em with relentlessness.

Now I am all for this--I AM!!!!! Are these the bottom lines is what I want to know???? How true are they?

Also I am wondering something: what are the odds that a credit card company will sue someone for a debt? Also, can they take your house straight out for payment of a debt--or just put a lien on it so if you sell you owe them? I live in Oregon.

Thank you so much for you help. Great forum.
