This money is not even a student loan. It's purely the tuition for one semester. She withdrew her classes (mother died around that time), they told her it was okay, and then billed her. This was back in '95, but it wasn't reported on the credit report until '97. This is not a loan. Just a direct payment to the college and then it went to a collection agency or two.

She hasn't been served, yet, so I know there is no judgment, yet. I'm thinking the SOL is almost up and that's why they are threatening big-time.
