florida judgement

My husband had his own business 18 yrs. ago and had a judgement awarded against him about 15 yrs. ago. He recently was served papers for a depo requiring all financial information for the last 2 yrs. of our lives. I know a judgement in FL is for 20 yrs. but why would they now be wanting this info and what do we stand to lose.
Cars, bank accounts, and house are in both names. Does have retirement and IRA's in his name only.
