Florida enacted a new Lien law in Oct. 2001 requiring existing judgment holders to refile before Oct.2003. Part of the required information for this refiling is SS #, which is probably not legally available to the creditor. Exactly whom was this request from? The original creditor? See a lawyer and find out if the party requesting information is doing it legally, and if you ARE required to furnish the information (which I doubt) If they can't refile the judgment by Oct.2003, it is not a further lien on real property.
