Has this caused you to pay higher interest rates, get declined for credit? Were you led to believe the account had been closed after it was paid off initailly, and before your wife put the $34 charge on it?? Can you document any of this? If not, start a paper trail and take them all to court. But you have to have the documentation in order to take care of this. The problem usually arises when someone takes someone else's word for what happened, and never gets documentation - then it is hard to prove anything. Linda Linda
