camco-10year old debt

need legal advice on how todeal with these peolpe. i have read till i am blurry on my rights and the laws. i have a10 year old debt that was written off 3 years ago. out of the blue they call and threaten a lawsuit, garnishing my wages. they call at work and home. they even spoke tomy boss today about it - which what i read is against the fair credit acts. i am terribly upset by this mess since i have reestablished my credit and started life basically over again. what exactly can they do to me????????
