My previous message was archived, so I am reposting here. Hope you don't mind.... I checked two of three credit agencies and First Usa and Wachovia list me as authorized user. I take it from our previous discussion that I am not legally responsible for these accounts. My question is about Nextcard. They are not reporting on me at all, but on my husband's credit report they list it as "Individual". Would they list it as joint if I was also responsible?? I'm pretty sure I am an authorized user, but since they send the statement to both of us, it is really confusing. I am wondering why a Chapter 13 is so bad. We have the money to refinance and pay the small payment they require each month. We just don't want to lose the cars and they are both in hubby's name and not mine. That's primarily why Chapter 7 is out of the question for us. They told us our payment for Chapt 13 would be $200 a month. Any thoughts?? Thanks for all your help.
