I just read your post below to Tom. I have a question.

Isn't Federal Stafford Loan money safe guarded from being attached by any judgment? The reason I ask is that I live off of federal student loan money and have a separate acct and can document that all the money goes towards the cost of my education. If student loan money is not exempt from judgments or garnishments then I need to know how I can safe guard the money without having it in acct under someone else's name.
