If I and Linda seem to get upset at some of the posters here, (ca trolls or not) it is because we spend a lot of time and effort trying to help people with THEIR problems. We DO NOT "preach" at them, we do not tell them how "we" would deal with a problem, or how "we" think they should run their lives.Linda has a full time job and family responsibilities, and I, although long since retired from full time professional activities, still get called in frequently to consult. Plus I am a volunteer at a local senior citizen center where I have to deal with peoples credit problems frequently. I do not believe for a minute that ANY of my own personal history,(painful as much of it was) is of any value in helping people solve practical problems of debt and credit in the way THEY want to handle it.If someone posts here and wants to figure out the best way of paying off a 30 year old debt to GulfState, then I will skip answering their question, as it is not in their interest to hear my OPINION of collection agencies. SO jeje & Christine,if you wish to preach paying off debts to collection agencies, go ahead, but don't do it in such a way that people who are looking for answers to THEIR problems are being misled and misinformed because of YOUR opinions.
