Thanks for that clarification, Why Chat. I understand your point about the difference between personal experience or opinions vs advice based on legal rights, etc.

However, I think it's really difficult to post something honestly without including some of your own ideology, experiences, etc.

With that being said, I think it would be a particularly valuable addition to this forum if people had an accepted and sanctioned way of sharing recent experiences and strategies by saying, "Hey, I had a less than miserable time with such-a-company by dealing with such-a-person, here's their number and extension."

So, maybe those kinds of posts that are not meant to be *advice* coming from a well of knowledge or based on legal rights, should be prefixed with something like "OP" for opinion or "PEX" for personal experience, etc or some other unused acronym just to make sure that people realize that it may not apply to their situation and may not be appropriate for them.

As I said, before if I misunderstood the focus of the board or how to post correctly, I apologize for that.
