2 year old dishonored check cont. for Linda

Linda, I did check with Chexsystems and I called the bank the CA claimed the check was drawn on. I no longer have an account at that bank, but the bank says they have no problems on file for me and no record of anything still owing. I guess it's possible that the bank didn't discuss it with me, and just called up the CA and said, "She just called in. Hurry! You can catch her." Anyways... The CA says the check was written to a parking garage. I have parked there before, but I never had a contract. It was month-to-month. You wouldn't get the parking pass without the check clearing. So, I don't know what's going on. I guess it is possible that they have a dishonored check (after all the account is closed). But, seeing as how it's not on Chexsystems, and the bank disavows knowledge, I want to *see* that check, you know? In my letter, I did my patented, "Here's a $50 or would you like to gamble with Validation-Door #2???" It's been working well so far. I hope it keeps working. Thanks,
