I posted this on another board, but didn't get much of a response. I was hoping Linda or WhyChat could take a few moments to give me some advice on where to start.

OK, I finally got all 3 reports (after 2 months!)

#3
PROVIDIAN FINANCIAL

OK, I figure I wait for Asset to contact me, (can't be too long now) as they have bought the debt from Conseco?? But no balance? Should I go for validation then? Conseco is reporting the account as individual, it was Joint as reported by Asset. Should I try to get this updated? Should I not stir up the waters here? (No judgement as far as I know). And WTH is up with the Providian status? Did they charge it off, did they write it off, or is it current? (Don't they need to pick one?)

So, to all you experts out there. Where do I start.

Myst

btw, I now live in Cali, debts were incurred in Ohio. Repo was a mobile home bought with roommate.
