Cal. has VERY strict repo laws that MUST be followed. If they didn't get a deficiency judgmwnt but just are harrassing you for payment, and it is over 4 years from repo date. You have no legal obligation to pay anything. Go to the Cal. AG office site, you will find a consumer assistance help line for your situation. File a complaint, send them a cease and desist.
