HOn, I have been an insurance agent since 1984. I can tell you for sure, you are not liable for any contract, even if you were party to the contract, if you were under 18 at the time, *and* in this case, YOU did not enter any contract, your mother put you on as an authorized user. That means that you can charge on the account, but you cannot be held responsible for the payment of the account, and if you do not want it on your credit report, they have to take it off. It really shouldn't be a problem, if you get the credit bureau's attention, and point out the obvious (I assume they have the correct date of birth and the correct account dates). They know they can't do this, and they will take it off. This is not one of those things where you will have to quote the law at them, and threaten them. It falls into the same category of knowledge as "stop on red" and "go on green." EVERYBODY knows it - you just need to point it out to the CRA. Linda
