I just received a "Civil Action-- Complaint in Mortgage Forclosure" from a third-party collection agency on a house I had left over 10 years ago (I know...like it matters.) Anyway, after many years of hardship and struggle, I finally got on my feet and got my own house with my two kids 2 years ago. Apparently the ex had not paid on the mortgage since 7-1-89!--- They are now taking action after 13 years. I believe the SOL in Pa on Judgements to be about 4 years, and debt, is 6 years. Do I have any rights/recourse and, how do I go about it.I spoke to a few attorney's by phone and all seem to have different advise. My main concern is am I at risk of getting a lien on my new home and my credit report suffering.

Jen~
