i appreciate it. i have a CC charge-off of $1667 that I settled recently with a 3rd party CA. In other words, some bought my account and then got these guys to collect (it was the infamous Wolpov and Abrahmson (sp)). When I called them they said they don't actually do anything with my credit reports. I assume whoever bought the thing to begin with does. The question is: Can I go to them?? It's Platinum Financial Services. I still have an r-9 on my reports. The woman at Wolpov said it might take a month or two! So, I can't even get a new credit card to start rebuilding my credit. Another question is: when it finally does go through, what is it going to say and will it be an improvment? In other words, will I be able to get credit again? thanks for listening,
