Recentlyi got a letter from a CA advising me that my account had been purchased by them. Upon receipt i called the CA to make arrangements to pay but they told me that i had to pay in full! Well about its been about 3 months & today i got a call from a lawyer telling me that i had to come up with a thousand dollars or else! Anyways i told the guy i was a student & had a part time job & that i didnt have 1000.00! He then proceeded to call me ignorant & that he wihed me luck with my lawsuit & then hung up! Well he called right back & spit in the phone & then hung up again!!! Do i need to file for chapter 7 or what options do i have?
