Just no way to tell. I'll say this, if you get your cc debt to zero, and start putting money in the bank and learn good budgeting skills you'll be way ahead of the curve. I would not close any accounts. Leave them open with a zero balance. A component of FICO scoring is the length of time accounts have been opened. As to the lates. As time goes by, derogatory information seems to be less important. Just keep paying your bills on time and good credit scores will take care of themselves.
