I got the same letter, you are still responsible for the full amount owed, it states that in the letter you got. I also got a call from Aspire, who took some of the accounts and offered to transfer my balance and open an acct with them. I turned them down because I was planning on paying off Nextcard and closing the acct anyway. You should just keep paying it off and wait til you get a call from another co. to transfer the balance it might be good for you to do at a lower APR. Good luck. kj
