I do not believe there is anything they have to actually DO to keep it going, I believe it autmatically revives every 5 years. The limit is 21 years, so you have 6 more years to go.It should have been off your credit report over 8 years ago.If your home is in joint names and it is under your married name, I don't see how it can affect you. You say they are like a "bull dog", as an animal lover, I consider comparing ca's to dogs is an insult to the dog.Would you e-mail me, do not post, the name of any ca who has contacted you, if you like, I will lookup some stuff for you. I do not think offerring to pay anything is a good idea as the ONLY party who can LEGALLY remove the judgment as paid, is the original creditor who placed it.
