If they are correct, and they were not paid the correct amount,the fact that they didn't discover it for two years does not invalidate your obligation to pay. The only time you would not be obligated would be if they had not billed the insurance co in a timely way.It would be smart to request a full accounting, make sure the balance is really yours,and that they added no interest. They can turn it over to a ca after 90 days,after which it will go on your credit report.
