NCO's extreme armtwisting

I recently posted a message in reference to my dealings with a company called NCO Financial. I have a 15 yr.defaulted student loan and have not heard from anyone until the last 3 months and I never get anything in writing, just these very mean people who will not hesistate to curse at you or any that answers your phone. My 12 year old kid was scared by a call that she answered. They threatned and cursed at her. These people are tricky and I want to settle the matter with them but they don't really talk to you they yell and put words in your mouth. I am not concerned about my credit report because the loan has been on my report for some time now and I still managed to purchase a home and refinance with no problems. My credit report states that the loan is a charge-off. I just want to know if thy can still sue me here in Georgia and put a lien on my home.
