First, who's calling? Original Creditors or Collection Agents? If it's an OC, they're not obligated by FDCPA, however, you can demand they stop calling and harassing you, as you're a 3rd party.

Another, perhaps scarier, question: Do you have Power of Attorney for your mother in law? You might want to contact an attorney and see how that affects you and your husband. You could also try to get an affidavit swearing that your MIL does not live at your address, and send that to the creditors. You don't need to tell them where she is but they don't need to be calling You. And lastly, threaten to SUE them!!
