Whether it is the same debt or another, this time, be smarter. Don't talk to them. They are so tricky.

They think they have a real live sucker now. Better let them know you have wised up. When you answer the phone, if it's them, tell them not to call you anymore, then send a C&D letter, and tell them to leave you AND your credit report alone.
