I never heard of a collection agency that archives accounts and only sells the information. How do they operate? Does the account sort of "disappear" or something? Is it "beneficial" for a debtor to have a charged off account end up with this type of CA? Do you have any idea of any particular CA's that operate this way? Any info you have is appreciated. Thanks!
