Thanks for your reply. This is something I just found out, 2 weeks prior to filing a Federal lawsuit against this CA.

In NJ, a CA is suppose to be registered with a $5000 bond.

In NJ, the fine is not more than $500, and is a misdemeanor.

Under the FCRA, I think it falls, at the very least, under False and Misleading representations.

I have never paid on this because the "validity" of the debt is disputed and included in the lawsuit.

Any additonal comments welcome
