My husband got a summons to answer from a capital one lawyer,it was charged off in January of this year. It was for a little over $3000,they didnt seem to waist any time. After alot of upset and worrying and writing on here(thanks everyone for any help givin) he wrote an answer letter to the lawyer and will be filing it through municipal court like it said. Among trying to make a settlement with him,he let him know that the reason we got an answering machine was because of the threats from a male rep. of Capital one,that was made twice to our place of residence,not sure if it will help,but its true. So the letter is being sent tomorrow and we will sit back and wait to see what happens. Just wanted to let you know that capital One is not wasting time sueing. deluxejo
