I do not know about the requirements of your refinancing, however, if you are going to finance your home to pay off unsecured credit card debt, most or all of which is beyond the legally collectible time, it seems to me it is a BAD DEAL.

Keep your financing as is until or unless you can find a lender that understands you are not required to pay scum scam ca's who came out from under the rocks to cheat you out of $$ as soon as they saw the application for refinancing.
