Medical bills, although signed for, are like credit cards- they fall under an open account SOL.

The ONLY time a medical bill COULD possibly be considered a written conract is if you signed a finacing agreement -- say for dental work or plastic surgery. A "contract in writing" has to give a time limit,terms and conditions, and be signed by BOTH parties to be considered a "contact in writing" for the purpse of determining SOL.

In any case,you are likely being harrassed by a bottom feeder scavanger ca who has NO right or ability to collect a dime from you, much less file suit.
