Sent for validation of several bills all being pursued by the same CA. All are from ex-wife who was not separated from at the time however lived in different states. She was in IL--I was in VA. Received back packet of info from them today(mailed one day prior to their 30 day deadline). All debts are from IL--IL collection agency(not CAMCO)

1. utility bill-- under my ssn, not provided by me. $400+ Was sent a copy of the credit history...my ssn was at the top, bills were sent to her. No signatures.

2. medical bills-- one of which is 10 years old. Does the SOL apply to medical bills or is that a totally different scenario?
other medical--under my insurance policy for services rendered to ex. No signatures of mine. Feel I'll probably get stuck with this as it was my insurance, however it pertains to prenatal care for a child born to her and her current husband.

3. CA did not answer questions related to their bonding...stated "not required to release this information" and did not sign the attached form.

How bad am I screwed? Only one of the bills appears to be beyond SOL(10 year old medical bill). The only other argument I have is that I didn't even live in the state where the services were rendered. Can anything be done?
