The "last payment" date you need is the last payment on a REGULAR MONTHLY billing statement to he ORIGINAL CREDITOR.

Forget about payments you made to collection agencies etc. they never keep track anyway.

I am sorry you listened to your husband instead of to the advice you got here. There is no such thing as "good intentions" or "good will effort" in civil court cases. The judge has NO discretion to make a settlememt.

Either you can fight the whole thing, which since your husbnd admitted in writing that it is his will be very difficult, or take your lumps with the mediation and come to whatever settlement they agree to take, or get a judgment and garnishment and attachment of assets.

IF you can focus on the question asked, it is POSSIBLE you can still fight this. WHEN DID YOU LAST PAY THE ORIGINAL CREDITOR???
