I went to mediation today and claimed my affirmative defense. The attorney was not willing to walk away and I wasn't willing to settle. The mediator informed me that the judge could still rule against me and add court cost and other cost to a judgement. The CA tried to say I owed over $5000 in interest and it was still accuring each day. I have to go to court on Friday for this and wonder if the judge can rule in their favor. I gave them copies of the statues and tila that covers credit card debt. The attorney and ca were going to look at the books as I left. They tried to say it was a written contract and a breach of contract. The mediator ask for a copy of the contract I signed and they couldn't produce one. Where do I stand now?
