I was expecting the bill collectors to come, but, he was 50% owner, the other is 50% (now 100%) owner. The bills were incurred while my husband was there. This is a nightmare. The partner used his debit card endlessly & used up 90% of the money personally, therefore, bills couldn't be paid. I know that I am not allowed to tell the bill collectors this information though, and I have not given any of that information, just that my husband left the company several weeks ago. We are not arguing that the bills aren't due to the vendors, however, and they know that. I am totally new at this, I have always been very diligent with my credit in trying to keep it good. I have gotten over-extended before, but ALWAYS kept my bills paid on time. We are also about to have a truck reposessed for non-payment that my husband co-signed for the company and the partner is driving it. We are trying to avoid that also, but I have not told the story to any bill collector.

Sorry to go on & on, I'm just a little worried that I may be in hot water over this. But, I believe it is 50/50. He (the partner) never stays at his home and also is rarely at the office. He has also refused to sign for some registered mail that he has received regarding things that he knows aren't good. WHAT A MESS!
