I just realized that I had worded something so that it didn't sound quite right. The bill collectors coming to my home are from the businesses themselves, but they are getting antsy for their money. We have, however, gotten a warrant of debt from one business. The copies came to our home, one for my husband, one for the partner and one for the business, ALL with the home address, not the business. This worries me. They picked up the address of of our former account with them (that was paid in full, no problems) that was combined with the partners good standing account and put into the company's name and address. Now the warrant of debt shows my home...is this something else to worry about? We only have 2 weeks to get this taken care of, I am now worried about my home also. (The company is incorporated, that may make a difference). This is in the state of VA.
